Common Massage Questions and Answers
Q: Who will perform the bodywork?
A: A certified and licensed massage therapist will conduct the session. Every therapist has their own style/touch but you may request a certain technique or modality.
Q: Must I be completely undressed?
A: Traditionally, massage techniques are performed with client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing in which you are comfortable. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable.
Q: What should I do during my session?
A: Make yourself comfortable. The practictioner will either gently move you or tell you if you need to move. Many just use thist ime to "zone out" and/or use visualization techniques to relax. Others like to talk or "vent" as the muscles release tension. Feel free to ask questions regarding your massage and be sure to let the therapist know if he/she needs to adjust the pressure.
